Mr. Haney is NovelE’s Environmental Specialist with over 12 years of environmental sampling and archaeological experience. His varied experience includes stream conditioning index (SCI) evaluations combined with habitat assessment, surface water and groundwater sampling, surveying and correlation of GIS data, and stream flow and hydrological measurements. He has performed background research on project sites incorporating ecological information, as well as collection and categorization of artifacts and monitoring of construction projects within culturally sensitive areas.

USACE, Louisville District, FY20 Water Quality Data, 20 Reservoirs OH, IN and KY: David Haney was the Project Manager for this fast paced project supporting the Water Quality Team objectives of the Louisville District Water Quality Program.
USACE, Mobile District, CCAFS Landfill Environmental Compliance: David Haney provided field support on this key project at CCAFS including well redevelopment and rehabilitation, and groundwater sampling from twenty-two compliance wells.
United States Veterans Administration, Bay Pines Healthcare System, St. Petersburg, Pinellas County, Florida: Environmental Specialist, providing the project support and field oversight for site activities on this 5-year, $4.16 million IDIQ.
Siena Cove Development, former Quail Hollow Golf and Country Club, Wesley Chapel, Pasco County, Florida: Mr. Haney provided field support including ISM soil sampling for the environmental assessment and remediation activities at this 175-acre former golf and country club.
Southwest Florida Water Management District, Lake Hancock Outfall Treatment Project, Polk County, FL: David Haney installed autosamplers on the five structures present on Lake Hancock and the treatment wetlands to collect 24-hour composite samples. The project involved observing the quality of water discharging from Lake Hancock into the treatment wetlands before then being released into Saddle Creek.
Southwest Florida Water Management District, Springs Coast Offshore WQ Monitoring: David Haney served as Staff Field Technician collecting water quality samples at 60 offshore stations accessed by boat and located via GPS coordinates. The data is a critical piece of assessing trends and managing natural resources in a region that is home to the second largest sea grass area in the United States.
Everglades Restoration Project, South Florida: Conduct all phases of the archaeological surveys in the Everglades to preserve culturally sensitive areas.
