NovelEsolutions President Awarded SAME Engineer of the Year 2023

The Florida West Coast Engineering Alliance has participated in the Outstanding Engineer Recognition Program to recognize and honor outstanding contributions by engineers in their various fields of expertise.
This program is open to all individuals who have made major contributions to the engineering profession. Each Engineering Society represented in the Florida West Coast Engineering Alliance, including the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME), is responsible for the nomination and selection of personnel for their various awards. Liza Grudin was awarded in the Engineer of the Year category in 2023.

Liza is a licensed Professional Engineer with over 25 years of engineering and environmental consulting experience offering services to federal, state, county, and privately-owned facilities. Her experience includes permitting, pollution prevention, risk-based assessment and closures, fate and transport modeling, NEPA, ISO and environmental compliance and environmental management systems. She has provided supervisory and engineering support for large permits, remediation design, system construction, and operation and monitoring of federal and state funded, privately funded and consent order sites for multiple Fortune 500 clients. In addition to founding her company NovelEsolutions, Inc in 2015, she has been active in serving the objectives of SAME, including being the Chair of the National’s K-12 STEM Outreach Community of Interest. Liza continually takes a leadership role in industry government engagement, problem-solving, and mentoring the next generation of engineers.
